In the Krasnodar Krai of russia, the Ilsky oil refinery caught fire after a drone attack. Photos and videos from the scene of the incident appeared on the Internet, showing thick smoke and a strong fire on the territory of the enterprise.
According to OSINT channels, the facility was hit by drones on the night of June 2. There is currently no official confirmation of the attack from the governor of the Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, but local resources are actively distributing footage of the fire and eyewitness accounts.
The Ilsky Refinery is one of the largest private oil refineries in southern russia. The plant processes oil and produces fuel for the domestic market. Such facilities also play an important role in providing fuel to the russian army.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
Recall that on May 28 and on the night of May 29, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important facilities of the russian occupiers, including the Volgograd Oil Refinery, the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station, the Tor-M2 air defense system, the MTZ warehouse, and UAV control points.
In addition, on the night of May 31, Ukrainian defenders struck the Saratov Oil Refinery, and a large-scale fire was recorded at the site. Among other facilities of the occupying state that were hit was the Lazarevo linear production and dispatching station in the Kirov Oblast of the russian federation.
