Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the Diamond League stage in Rabat. She was the only one among the participants to clear the bar at 1.97 m.
This was reported by Suspilne Sport.
The Ukrainian track and field athlete cleared 1.97 m on her second attempt and became the only participant in the competition to achieve this result.
After securing the victory, Mahuchikh tried to clear 2.00 m, but failed to use two attempts. Later, she moved the bar to 2.02 m, but did not overcome this height either.
In the high jump sector, Ukraine was also represented by Yulia Levchenko. She took a height of 1.91 m and finished the competition in fourth place.
The silver medalist was Australian Eleanor Patterson, who cleared 1.94 m. Serbian athlete Angelina Topic, after a successful jump of 1.94 m, completed the performance and took third place.
Recall that in April, Mahuchykh also won the first stage of the "Diamond League". Then, as in Rabat, she became the only athlete to clear a height of 1.97 m.
Recall that Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchykh shared the story of meeting singer Nadia Dorofeeva and told how the idea of their joint videos for social networks arose.
