On the evening of May 31, part of the city in Chernihiv was left without electricity due to a russian attack on an energy facility in the Chernihiv district.

This was announced by Chernihivoblenergo, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to energy experts, about 40,000 consumers in Chernihiv were left without electricity as a result of the attack. Currently, specialists are working to restore electricity supply to consumers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 26, as a result of russian shelling of civilian energy infrastructure, power outages were recorded in 5 regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Kharkiv.
