Iran launched a missile strike on the US Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. The attack was carried out using Fateh-110 missiles.
As a result of the attack, five US service members were wounded, and serious damage was inflicted on US MQ-9 Reaper strike drones.
According to reports, Kuwaiti air defense forces managed to intercept one missile, but debris damaged several buildings. The soldiers are in satisfactory condition, having sustained minor injuries.
One drone was also destroyed, and another was rendered inoperable due to severe damage.
US Central Command did not report the attack. The publication notes that the strike occurred as the US was considering an agreement to extend the ceasefire, which has been in effect since April, although both sides have carried out attacks during this period.
