In Q1, Vodafone increased net profit by 12% to UAH 778 million

In the first quarter of 2026, the Vodafone Ukraine Group increased net profit by 12% to UAH 778 million compared to the same period in 2025.

This is announced in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that the growth in profit was ensured, in particular, by improving operating results and effective management of the debt portfolio and interest expenses.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, Vodafone increased revenue by 11% - to UAH 7.3 billion.

The key factors remain the growth in data service consumption, the development of fixed business and the growth in revenue from sales of equipment and other services.

The company maintains a stable level of margin despite cost pressure, in particular the costs of ensuring the energy stability of the network, which remain significant.

The OIBDA indicator increased by 4% and amounts to UAH 3.49 billion.

OIBDA margin was 47.8% (-2.9 pp compared to Q1 2025), reflecting the impact of increased costs, in particular: electricity costs and ensuring network energy stability, personnel costs, and increased rental fees for radio frequency resources.

Average revenue per user (ARPU) in Q1 2026 increased by 13% to UAH 145.2 per month.

Vodafone's subscriber base remains relatively stable, while the company continues to record an increase in the number of contract connections.

Vodafone continues to invest in the development of telecom infrastructure, paying special attention to energy independence and network restoration.

The volume of investments remains stable - in Q1 2026, investments amounted to UAH 1.55 billion (-2% year-on-year).

15.4 million customers use Vodafone services in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2025, the mobile communications operator Vodafone Ukraine (PJSC "VF Ukraine", Kyiv) increased its net profit by 18% to UAH 4.2 billion compared to the same period in 2025.

In March 2020, Vodafone (Britain) signed a partnership agreement with the mobile communications operator Vodafone Ukraine to continue using the Vodafone brand in the work of the Ukrainian company for the next 5 years.

On December 3, 2019, Bakcell (Azerbaijan) completed the transaction to purchase the telecommunications company MTS of the mobile communications operator Vodafone Ukraine (formerly "MTS-Ukraine") for USD 734 million.
