On the night of Wednesday, May 27, 2026, a series of explosions were heard in occupied Sevastopol as a result of a massive missile and drone attack. This was reported in the Telegram channel by the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev.
According to the occupation official, the city was attacked by various aerial means, including Storm Shadow missiles and drones. He claims that more than 20 UAVs were allegedly shot down in the areas of the Northern Side, Fiolent, Sevastopolskaya and Omega Bays, but several hits were recorded in the city.
In particular, on Lastova Street, a missile hit the building of the Southern Department of the Central Bank, as a result of which the roof caught fire, and in neighboring buildings the blast wave damaged windows and balconies. On the same-named Lastova Square, an eight-story apartment building was damaged by the shock wave, where the facade and glazing were damaged.
In addition, according to preliminary information from Razvozhayev, in the area of Gogol Street, a missile damaged an administrative building that had not been used for a long time. In the surrounding residential high-rise buildings, the blast wave also broke out windows, and the exact amount of damage is currently being specified. The representative of the occupation authorities added that according to preliminary data, no one was injured.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used Storm Shadow cruise missiles to destroy a russian command and communications point in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk Region.
