On the night of May 27, a series of powerful explosions were heard in occupied Crimea. The loudest were in Sevastopol and Simferopol, where a large-scale fire broke out after the attack. Previously, one of the command facilities of the russian Black Sea Fleet could have been hit.

This was reported by Crimean Telegram channels, in particular the public "Krymskiy veter".

According to monitoring resources, the explosions initially occurred in the area of ​​Cape Fiolent. Later, reports of hits began to come from Simferopol, where russian air defenses were probably operating near the Tavria CHPP.

"The third strong explosion on Cape Fiolent in 10 minutes, similar to arrivals," the public message says.

Explosions and shooting were also heard on the northern side of Sevastopol. It was also loud in the areas of the Kacha and Belbek military airfields.

In the morning, new explosions were heard again in Simferopol. After several powerful strikes in Sevastopol, thick smoke was noticed over the bay and the Sapun-gora area.

In addition, according to the Telegram channel, one of the strikes could have hit the building of the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Air Force on Gogol Street in Sevastopol. After that, a fire allegedly broke out there.

"After the destruction of the Black Sea Fleet headquarters, the Air Force headquarters is being used as the location of the main management body," the authors of the public noted.
