Russia damages at least 7 cultural institutions in Kyiv

As a result of the terrorist attack by the aggressor country of russia in Kyiv, leading cultural institutions in the capital were damaged. The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on Sunday, May 24.

The russian shelling damaged the following cultural institutions in Kyiv:

  • National Art Museum of Ukraine;
  • National Philharmonic of Ukraine;
  • National Academy of Music of Ukraine;
  • National Center "Ukrainian House";
  • National Library of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise
  • Kyiv Opera.

In addition, the russian occupiers significantly damaged the National Museum Chernobyl, as well as the architectural monuments - the Contract House and the Postal Station. The Ministry of Culture continues to collect information about the consequences of the shelling.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Air Force shot down 55 enemy missiles and 549 drones during a large-scale night shelling.
