Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven has filed an official protest against the results of his fight with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk. The athlete announced this in his Instagram stories on Sunday, May 24.
Verhoeven posted a photo in the car after the fight with Usyk.
"We filed an official protest on the way to the airport. The rules only make sense when they are followed at the most important moments," Verhoeven wrote.

According to the boxer, the referee prematurely stopped the fight in the 11th round.
