On the night of Sunday, May 24, russian occupation forces struck Bila Tserkva with an Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile. This information was officially confirmed by the head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to him, the launch of the enemy missile was carried out from the Kapustin Yar training ground, which is in the Astrakhan Oblast of the russian federation.
That same night, all districts of the Kyiv Region, without exception, were subjected to a massive attack. The enemy used various types of weapons, causing significant destruction and fires in the Vyshhorod, Boryspil, Obukhiv, Brovary, Bucha and Fastiv districts. The shelling damaged an industrial enterprise, infrastructure facilities, private estates and multi-storey buildings.
Damage was recorded directly in Bila Tserkva to the territory of a garage cooperative, where boxes caught fire.
In total, two people were killed in the Kyiv Region as a result of the night attack, and the number of injured increased to nine. In particular, two women were injured in the Fastiv district, and a man was injured in Bucha district. Emergency services and law enforcement officers continue to work at the sites of the hits, recording the consequences of another war crime by the russian federation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of May 24, russian troops launched a massive attack with ballistic missiles on the Ukrainian capital.
