On the night of Saturday, May 23, the russian troops launched 124 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to neutralize 102 of them.
This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of May 23 (from 06:30 pm on May 22), the enemy attacked with 124 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas and simulator drones of the Parody type from the directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the russian federation, Hvardiyske - TOT AR Crimea.
"According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 am, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 102 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the report says.
12 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 9 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 5 locations.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of May 22, the russians launched 124 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 115 drones.
