A court has allowed the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine to return to the Trade Union House, located on Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square in Kyiv. It was reported in a post by the Federation on Facebook, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

"The Pecherskyi District Court has allowed the Federation of Trade Unions to return to the Trade Union House in Kyiv. Work in the historic building is expected to resume in a few weeks," the post reads.

Serhii Byzov, the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, noted that the building itself remains under seizure as part of criminal proceedings against former leaders of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, but now, following the court’s decision, the Federation of Trade Unions will be able to return to it.

The Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine plans to return to the Trade Union House on Maidan this summer.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, by court order, the Trade Union House was transferred to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (Asset Recovery and Management Agency; ARMA); this asset was under seizure in 2022–2023 as part of a case involving the misappropriation of state property.

In April 2025, ARMA signed a management agreement with the winner of an open tender, the "KAMparitet Management Company" consortium, regarding the Trade Union House located at 2 Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
