On May 19, 250 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk (43 clashes) and Huliaipole (23).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out one missile and 100 air strikes, in particular, dropped 289 guided bombs, the enemy also used 9,168 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,195 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, in particular, 60 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On May 19, 250 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, five clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Izbytske, Hraniv, Lyman, Radkivka, Vilcha, Vovchanski Khutory and Starytsia.
On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Novoplatonivka.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Kopanky, Ozerne and Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped four attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the russians did not conduct any active operations.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka and Dovha Balka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor on the areas of the settlements of Dorozhnie, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Molodetske and on the axis of the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Serhiivka, Hruzke.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked twice on the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad and Berehove.
On the Huliaipole axis, 23 attacks by the invaders took place on the areas of the settlements of Rivnopillia, Radisne, Rybne, Dobropillia, Olenokostiantynivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv axis, the russians tried to advance on the area of the settlement of Bilohiria.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian units stopped two enemy attacks in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit five command posts, three areas of personnel concentration, two artillery systems and three enemy drone control posts.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 19 amounted to 920 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 18, 236 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (40 clashes) and Huliaipole (22) axes.
