Russians massively attack Konotop and Shostka with drones, wounding six people - Regional Military Administration

Russian occupation forces launched a massive drone attack on the Sumy Region. Last night, enemy UAV strikes were recorded in residential areas of the Konotop and Shostka communities. Oleh Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, has reported this.

The strikes damaged homes and caused casualties. At least six people are known to have been wounded in Konotop, though the exact number and condition of the victims are still being determined. All relevant emergency services are on the scene, working to address the aftermath of the attacks.

People are also being evacuated from damaged buildings and those in the vicinity.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 6 in the Velyka Pysarivka community of the Sumy Region, a 69-year-old man was killed by a landmine dropped by russian occupiers from a drone. The man died at the scene.

As a reminder, in April it became known that the occupiers used drones to scatter propaganda leaflets over settlements in the Sumy Region.

In the Sumy Region, people attempted to remove fragments of UAVs. They exploded, resulting in fatalities.
