On the night of May 19, russian troops once again attacked the Izmail district of the Odesa Region. This was reported by the Izmail district military administration.
The city of Izmail was hit, where port infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine promptly arrived at the scene and quickly eliminated all the consequences of the attack.
According to preliminary information, the incident did not cause any casualties or injuries among the civilian population, and no significant damage to the facilities was recorded.
The administration also noted that the air defense forces worked effectively, destroying almost all air attack means over open territory outside the settlements of the Izmail district.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russia struck Kharkiv twice with Shahed drones at night, there is damage and casualties.
On the night of May 18, russian troops attacked a Chinese merchant ship that was in Ukrainian territorial waters. To strike the civilian ship, the invaders used a Shahed attack drone.
