In April 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 3,007 electric vehicles (BEV), the leader in registrations of electric vehicles was the Lviv Region.
This is stated in the message of the UkrAutoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message says that the highest indicators of registrations of these cars were demonstrated by:
- the Lviv Region - 416 units (92% used);
- the city of Kyiv - 318 units (55% used);
- the Kyiv Region - 225 units (72% used);
- the Dnipropetrovsk Region - 213 units (76% used);
- the Rivne Region - 203 units (86% used).
In terms of new cars, the leading positions in these markets were taken by: in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions - BYD Leopard 3; in the Lviv and Kyiv Regions - BYD Sea Lion 06; in the Rivne Region - BYD E2.
Bestsellers in the segment of used electric cars imported from abroad: Tesla Model Y - in the Lviv, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions; Tesla Model 3 - in Kyiv; Nissan Leaf - in the Rivne Region.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with more than 11,000 electric vehicles (BEV), and Kyiv did not become the leader in electric vehicle registrations.
