Joint-stock company Ukrposhta completed the first four months of 2026 with a profit, both operating and general, which amounted to UAH 106.3 million.
Ukrposhta General Director Ihor Smilianskyi wrote about this in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Smilianskyi noted that EBITDA (operating profit) - an indicator of the efficiency of the main business activity - improved from negative UAH 13.6 million to positive UAH 122.9 million.
This is without taking into account the sale of property, but exclusively operating income.
He also added that the company's equity reached UAH 2.3 billion, without any assistance from the state budget.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, from May 1, payment by bank cards at Ukrposhta branches became available in 100% of settlements in Ukraine. Over the years of Ihor Smilianskyi's activity, Ukrposhta received UAH 0.75 billion in profit and over UAH 3.3 billion in losses.
