In April 2026, 3,600 hybrid passenger cars (HEVs and PHEVs) were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet, which is one-third more than in April 2025.
This is stated in a report by the UkrAutoprom association, according to the Ukrainian News agency.
The report states that new cars accounted for 55% of this total, compared to 63% in April of last year.
In the new passenger car segment, the Toyota Rav-4 (347 units) remains the market leader among hybrids.
The Toyota Yaris Cross came in second (120 units).
The third most popular model is the Nissan Qashqai (102 units).
Among imported pre-used hybrids, the Ford Escape leads the pack (97 units).
Also in the top three: the KIA Niro (81 units) and the Toyota Prius (76 units).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March 2026, 3,300 hybrid passenger cars (HEVs and PHEVs) were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet, which is 42% more than in March 2025.
In 2025, 31,200 hybrid passenger cars (HEVs and PHEVs) were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet, which is 31% more than in 2024.
