Over the past week, the russians have launched more than 3,170 attack drones, over 1,300 guided aerial bombs, and 74 missiles of various types (mostly ballistic) at Ukraine. Fifty-two people were killed as a result of the shelling over the course of the week. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported this.
He noted that many strikes targeted residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure. Another 346 people were injured, including 22 children.
“Our people need more protection, and everything that supports Ukraine’s air defense ultimately helps save lives. That is why PURL and additional contributions for anti-ballistic missiles are important. And it is no less important to work in Europe on joint defense against ballistic threats. We must be self-sufficient in defense so that Russian aerial terror cannot threaten either Ukraine or any other country on the continent," the President wrote.
As a reminder, 24 people, including 3 children, were killed when a missile struck a building in the Darnytskyi District.
