Bulgaria wins Eurovision Song Contest 2026, Ukraine ninth

Bulgaria won the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Singer DARA, performing the song "Bangaranga," received 516 points, while Ukraine's representative, Leléka, finished in ninth place with 221 points.

The results were announced during the contest broadcast.

Israel’s representative, Noam Bettan, took second place with his song “Michelle.” He scored 343 points. Third place went to Romanian singer Alexandra Căpitănescu, who performed the song “Choke Me.”

Ukraine was represented at the contest by Leléka with the song “Ridnym.” She performed seventh in the final. After finishing her performance, the singer shouted “Glory to Ukraine!” from the stage and made a trident gesture.

According to the voting results, Leléka received 54 points from the jury and 167 from the viewers. Ukraine’s total score was 221 points.

As a reminder, during the first semi-final of Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, security escorted four pro-Palestinian protesters out of the hall who were attempting to disrupt the performance of Israel’s representative, Noam Bettan. The incident was captured during the live broadcast of the contest.
