Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi signed an order to expand efforts to collect, process, and preserve information regarding violations of international humanitarian law by russian occupation forces. He announced this on Facebook on Friday, May 15.
Syrskyi emphasized that this document establishes uniform standards for recording data on war crimes identified during combat and special operations, as well as the procedure for documenting this information in the "Delta Integration Platform" system.
"The Russian aggressor systematically violates the rules of war. Every day, the occupiers commit crimes against Ukrainian servicemen and the civilian population: they shell civilian infrastructure, use terror, torture, and executions. We must record information about every war crime. About every fact. About every piece of evidence. All of this constitutes a digital evidence base for the court," emphasized the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, the process will be coordinated by the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, within which the Department for Documenting Violations of the Laws of Armed Conflict will operate.
