New wave of mobilization in russia will finally destroy labor market and deplete budget - intelligence

Main points
  • Another mass conscription in russia could paralyze the labor market and deplete the country's budget.
  • Mass emigration of highly qualified specialists is expected in connection with mobilization.
  • Russia's budget deficit has already exceeded planned indicators, threatening economic stability.

A new wave of mobilization in russia threatens to become not only a social explosion, but also a trigger for a deep economic crisis, the consequences of which the country will feel for years. This is stated in a message from the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

Another mass conscription could finally paralyze the russian labor market and deplete the budget, which is already in a critical state.

Intelligence emphasizes that the mass withdrawal of the working-age population from the real sector of the economy will only exacerbate the personnel shortage. At the same time, the military expediency of such a step is questionable: modern warfare requires technology, communications, and electronic warfare, not just a number of people. Political scientists also predict a second wave of mass emigration.

If some russians returned in 2022, then now highly qualified specialists may finally leave the country.

The situation is worsened by the financial condition of the russian federation - the budget deficit has already exceeded the planned indicators many times. Maintaining and equipping hundreds of thousands of new mobilized people will create unbearable costs for the russian treasury, which, against the background of brain drain and degradation of production, threatens the economic endurance of the aggressor in the long term.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, agents of the partisan movement ATESH recorded that the military of the aggressor countries of russia are increasingly discussing the acute shortage of ammunition for certain types of artillery. Units are facing the so-called "ammunition famine," which directly affects their ability to fire and hold positions.
