Google has announced Gemini Intelligence, a suite of AI features for Android devices. They will first be available on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphones in the summer of 2026, and later on other devices.

Gemini will get enhanced agent-like capabilities: the assistant will be able to perform complex multi-step tasks in the background. For example, you can take a picture of a travel brochure, ask the bot to find a similar tour on Expedia - and after the search is complete, just confirm the order. Previously, Google has already demonstrated basic agent-like capabilities on Samsung smartphones - including ordering food and taxis.

It is also noted that from the end of June 2026, Gemini in Chrome on Android will help find, summarize and compare content on different pages - similarly to how it already works in the desktop version of the browser.

The new Rambler tool will allow you to dictate text by voice, after which AI will highlight key fragments and combine them into a coherent message without parasitic words and repetitions. The function supports switching between languages in one message and does not save the audio recording after transcription.

The Create My Widget function allows you to create personalized widgets based on a text request. For example, a cyclist can generate a weather widget with only wind and rain indicators, without unnecessary information.

Earlier it was reported that Google will add mental health support tools to Gemini after lawsuits.
