A nine-month-old girl injured in the russian attack on Kryvyi Rih on May 12 is in serious condition, but doctors managed to save her leg. The child will be sent to Dnipro for further treatment.
This was reported by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
"With God's help and thanks to the professionalism of our doctors, they managed to save her leg, she will be sent to Dnipro for further treatment," Vilkul said.
The child's 23-year-old mother also remains in the hospital. Doctors assess her condition as moderate.
What is known about the strike on Kryvyi Rih on May 12
The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the grandparents of the wounded girl were killed in the strike.
In total, eight people were killed and 11 more were injured during the russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk Region on May 12.
In the Nikopol district, the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrivska, Pokrovska, and Chervonohryhorivska were under fire. Private homes, cars, and infrastructure were damaged there. Three people were injured: a 16-year-old boy was hospitalized in moderate condition, another 16-year-old teenager and a 21-year-old man are being treated as an outpatient.
In Synelnykivskyi district, the communities of Dubovykivska and Mykolaivska were under attack. More than 20 houses were damaged there, and two people were killed.
Nine more houses were damaged as a result of the strike on the area the day before. Four people were killed and four more were injured. Three of the injured were hospitalized, a 50-year-old man is in serious condition.
On the night of May 12, the russian invaders carried out another drone attack on the Kyiv Region, targeting civilian infrastructure and peaceful neighborhoods.
