In April 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 3,007 units of battery electric vehicles (BEV), which is 48% less than in April 2025, and 49% more compared to March 2026.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The main number of electric vehicles registered during the month was passenger cars - 2,837 units (new - 536 units, used - 2,301 units).
Among 170 units of commercial electric vehicles, only 9 cars were new.
The TOP-5 new electric vehicles of the month were: BYD Leopard 3 - 96 units; BYD Sea Lion 06 - 73 units; MG 4 EV - 38 units; Volkswagen Id.Unyx - 36 units and Zeekr 001 - 33 units.
TOP-5 used electric cars sold for the first time in Ukraine: Nissan Leaf - 345 units; Tesla Model Y - 283 units; Tesla Model 3 - 265 units; Renault Zoe - 120 units and Chevrolet Bolt - 117 units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 1,074 units of battery electric vehicles, which is 76% less than in February 2025 and 63% less than in January 2026.
In 2025, electric vehicle sales doubled to 110,200 zero-emission vehicles compared to 2024.
