Yuliia Mendel, former press secretary to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, expressed suspicions about Zelenskyy’s possible drug use in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson.

According to Mendel, before the interview, Zelenskyy left for about 15 minutes and then returned “full of energy and ready to go.”

At the same time, Mendel emphasized that she personally had never seen Zelenskyy use illegal substances. However, she said, “many people” had confirmed to her that the Ukrainian President used drugs.

“I have met with many people who confirmed that they saw him using drugs in various clubs,” Mendel stated.

It is worth noting that Mendel did not provide any documentary or other evidence to support her claims, nor did she name any specific individuals whose words the former presidential press secretary is citing.

The interview was given to Tucker Carlson, an American journalist known for his pro-russian sympathies and for spreading conspiracy theories. Carlson had also previously made provocative remarks about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, calling him a “dictator” and a “lackey.” Furthermore, the American journalist has publicly claimed that it is not russia but Jews who are to blame for the war in Ukraine.
