Since the beginning of the day, the number of attacks by the russians as of 04:00 pm on May 9 is 51 cases.
This is stated in the text of the daily operational report from the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, posted on the official page of the department on Facebook.
The enemy is shelling border areas. Today, in the Sumy Region, the following settlements were affected: Rohizne, Volfyne, Korenky, Atynske, Ulanov and Kucherivka.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes, the enemy carried out 10 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops. Two enemy assault actions were recorded.
In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, the enemy tried seven times to improve its position in the areas of Prylipka, Izbytske, Starytsia, Ternove, Petro-Ivanivka, and Synelnykove. Two of these attempts are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk Axis, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of Lyman, Zarichne, Yampil, and Ozerne.
In the Slovyansk Axis, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka Axis, the invaders carried out seven attacks in the direction of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried 17 times to push our soldiers from their occupied positions towards the settlements of Bilytske, Nykanorivka, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Vasylivka, Molodetske and Novomykolaivka. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka Axis, the enemy did not conduct any assault operations.
In the Huliaipole Axis, there were 13 attacks towards the positions of our defenders towards Nove Zaporizhzhia, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, Sviatopetrivka, Huliaipilske and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsk Axes, no enemy assault operations have been recorded.
In other Axes, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.
