On the night of today, May 9, the russian army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk Region with drones and hit the territory of the region with artillery more than 20 times. As a result of the attacks, two people were killed, two more were injured.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
In the Nikopol district, the russians targeted the district center, Marhanetska and Chervonohryhorivska communities. Infrastructure, a kiosk, a shop, a cafe, and private houses were damaged.
A 35-year-old man was killed as a result of the attacks. In addition, a 39-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and a 31-year-old man will be treated as an outpatient.
The enemy also struck the Dubovykivska community in the Synelnykivskyi district. An enterprise and agricultural machinery were damaged. One person was killed.
Three people were injured in the Kherson Region due to russian shelling. According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the city of Kherson and 19 other settlements in the region were under enemy drone terror and artillery shelling for 24 hours.
The russian military hit social infrastructure, as well as residential areas of settlements in the region. Two private houses were damaged as a result of the shelling.
The previous evening, russia attacked a border village in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district of the Chernihiv Region. A fire broke out at an agricultural enterprise due to a drone attack. A 70-year-old man and his 49-year-old son were killed. Another 55-year-old man was injured.
In addition, during the day, the occupiers inflicted almost 750 strikes on 31 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Region. Two people were injured as a result of the enemy attack on the Zaporizhzhia district, the regional military administration reported. There were 51 reports of damage to homes, cars, and infrastructure.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, last night russia attacked Ukraine with a ballistic missile and 43 drones: air defense forces neutralized 34 targets.
