On the night of Wednesday, May 6, the russian troops launched 3 missiles and 108 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 98 drones.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of May 6 (from 6 p.m. on May 5), the enemy attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation, one Kh-31 guided aerial missile from the airspace of the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, as well as 108 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas attack UAVs and Parodiya decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo (all - the russian federation), as well as from the occupied Crimea and Donetsk.

"According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m., air defenses shot down/suppressed 89 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and Parodiya decoy drones in the north and east of the country," the message says.

The hits of 2 ballistic missiles, 1 guided aerial missile and 9 strike UAVs were recorded at 8 locations, as well as the fall of downed objects (fragments) at 1 location.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 5, the russians launched 11 ballistic missiles and 164 strike drones over Ukraine, and the air defense forces managed to shoot down one ballistic missile and 149 enemy UAVs.

In Kharkiv, the occupiers struck the private sector, there is destruction and casualties.
