The Ukrainian analytical project DeepState reports that the army of the aggressor country, russia, has advanced near two settlements in the Donetsk Region.

This is evidenced by an update to DeepState’s interactive map.

According to OSINT analysts, the occupiers have advanced to the southeastern outskirts of the settlement of Ivanopil. They have also captured a number of positions west of the village of Berestok.

At the time of publication, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had neither confirmed nor denied DeepState’s information regarding the enemy’s advance.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday, May 2, a balloon flew into Ukraine from the Belarusian territory. The military believes it serves as a signal booster for russian aerial weapons.

Also yesterday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the day before, rather unusual activity from the Belarusian side had been recorded along sections of the Ukraine-Belarus border.

According to the military, there are currently no signs of enemy offensive formations in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
