President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about his phone conversation with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
Zelenskyy announced this in a post on social media.
The Ukrainian leader emphasized the need for strong relations between the two countries, noting that “we are both interested in this.”
“It was important to hear that Slovakia supports Ukraine’s membership in the European Union and is ready to share its experience of accession,” he wrote.
Zelenskyy also invited Fico to Kyiv and thanked him for his invitation to visit Bratislava.
“We also discussed the possibility of meeting in person in the near future. Our teams will work on the schedule,” Zelenskyy wrote.
