Defense Forces reduce number of occupants by another 1,240 invaders - AFU General Staff report

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reduced the strength of the russian occupation army by 1,240 invaders. Russia’s total combat losses in manpower now stand at 1,332,950 personnel.

Hundreds of enemy vehicles and weapons have also been destroyed.

Updated data on russian losses were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the morning report dated May 2, the General Staff stated that the previous day, Ukrainian troops destroyed three tanks (11,906), four armored combat vehicles (24,500), 73 artillery systems (41,117), six MLRS (1,763), 2,305 tactical-level UAVs (267,589).

Additionally, 265 vehicles and tankers (93,274) and one piece of specialized equipment (4,151) were destroyed.

Over the past 24 hours, russia lost 2,657 pieces of weaponry and equipment, including drones.

In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, russia has also lost 1,357 air defense systems, 435 aircraft, 352 helicopters, 4,579 cruise missiles, 33 ships/boats, and two submarines.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on April 30 increased by 1,420 people to 1,331,710, and equipment losses by 2 tanks, 100 artillery systems, and 1,924 UAVs.
