Russian occupiers attacked Kharkiv with drones on the night of May 2. Specifically, in the Shevchenkivskyi District, an enemy drone was reported to have struck a 12-story building. One person was injured.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the regional military administration, and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov have reported this.

The statements note that one person was injured when a Shahed-type drone struck the 12th floor of a multi-unit residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi District.

"The man sustained shrapnel wounds to his chest," Terekhov added.

According to him, the Shahed did not detonate, which prevented much more serious consequences.

Later, Terekhov added that a strike drone also hit cars in the Kholodnohirskyi District of Kharkiv. A fire broke out at the scene. As a result of the strike, two cars were destroyed and seven others were damaged.

Additionally, according to Terekhov, in the Saltivskyi District, the remains of a Shahed were found near a residential building following overnight enemy shelling.

"There were no casualties. Relevant services are working at the scene," officials stated.
