On the night of May 2, russian occupation forces attacked port infrastructure in the city of Izmail in the Odesa Region.
The Izmail District State Administration reported this on social media.
"The enemy has once again attacked the port infrastructure of the city of Izmail. Air defense forces responded very effectively — most of the enemy UAVs were shot down. There is virtually no damage," officials noted.
At the same time, Oleh Kiper, the head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that as a result of the attack on the port infrastructure of the Odesa Region, a warehouse and outbuildings were damaged.
"Fortunately, there are no deaths or injuries. Local fires that arose were extinguished by the personnel and units of the State Emergency Service," he wrote.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 1, the russians attacked Odesa and the Odesa Region with drones.
As a result of enemy strikes, residential buildings were damaged in the regional center, and port infrastructure in the Izmail District.
It was reported that 5 people were injured in Odesa.
