On May 1, 138 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk (27 clashes) and Huliaipole (18) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 89 air strikes, dropping 270 guided bombs, used 9,976 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,379 attacks on the settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 42 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On May 1, 138 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, three combat clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units eight times on the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske, Krasne Pershe, Mala Vovcha and Fyholivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, the aggressor attacked twice in the area of the settlement of Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ozerne, Druzheliubivka, Lyman, Drobysheve and Stavky.
On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by the russians to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders did not carry out any attacks.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out seven attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne and Ivanopillia.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 27 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Vilne, Dorozhnie, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Hryshyne, Novopavlivka and towards the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Zolotyi Kolodiaz.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked nine times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Krasnohirske, Kalynivske, Novohryhorivka, Yehorivka, Sichneve and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole axis, there were 18 attacks by the russians in the areas of Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove and Dobropillia.
On the Orikhiv axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy attempt to advance in the area of the settlement of Stepnohirsk.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian units stopped three attacks by the invaders near the Bilohrudyi Island and the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit a control point, two artillery systems, an air defense system, an ammunition storage depot and seven areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 1 amounted to 1,240 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 30, 138 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk (26 clashes) and Huliaipole (19).
