The Panormitis, a vessel illegally transporting grain from Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories, will not unload its cargo in Israel. Ukraine will continue to monitor its movements and warn of the illegality of any transactions involving the ship. Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced this on his X account on Thursday, April 30.

Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine’s legal and diplomatic actions have proven effective. According to him, this is evidenced by the positive developments regarding the stolen Ukrainian grain on the Panormitis, which Israel refused to accept.

"This is also a clear signal to all other vessels, captains, operators, insurers, and governments: do not buy stolen Ukrainian grain. Do not become part of this crime. We continue to track this particular vessel and warn everyone against any operations with it. We will also continue to ramp up international sanctions measures against Russia’s shadow grain fleet," the foreign minister stressed.

In addition, Ukraine will continue to strengthen international sanctions against the shadow grain fleet of the aggressor country, russia, Sybiha said.
