One of the priorities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the coming months is to strike russian occupiers at depths of up to 120–150 kilometers (middle strikes), primarily targeting military logistics, warehouses, and command centers, as well as air defense systems and other components of the enemy’s offensive operations. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Wednesday, April 29.

Zelenskyy noted that Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported on the provision of drones for Ukrainian operations on the front lines and behind enemy lines, as well as on increasing supply volumes.

"One of our priorities for the coming months is middle strikes, that is, striking the occupier at depths of up to 120–150 kilometers. This primarily targets the enemy’s military logistics, warehouses, and headquarters, air defense systems, and other components of offensive operations against Ukraine. This year, we have already contracted five times more middle strike capabilities than last year, and we will continue to scale up contracting and production," the head of state emphasized.

In addition, verified information regarding russian losses in April will be available in early May. Ukraine’s objective is to ensure that the number of casualties among the occupying forces exceeds the rate of their mobilization, Zelenskyy said.

On April 29, the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a field airstrip used by the occupiers' forces in the Voronezh Oblast of the aggressor country, russia. During the attack, two russian helicopters were hit.
