  • During the operation, a russian FSB patrol boat of the "Sobol" class and an anti-sabotage boat of the "Grachonok" class were hit.
  • The operation confirms the vulnerability of russian assets in the area of the occupied Crimea.

On the night of April 30, the Ukrainian Navy launched a successful strike against russian naval vessels in the Kerch Strait area. The Ukrainian Navy’s press service has officially reported this.

During the operation, Ukrainian naval forces struck an FSB patrol boat of the "Sobol" class and an anti-sabotage boat of the "Grachonok" class. These vessels are key units of the Coast Guard of the FSB Border Service and the russian Navy, which the occupiers use directly to guard the Kerch Bridge and patrol the waters to combat saboteurs.

According to the Ukrainian command, as a result of the attack, the russian side suffered both combat and medical casualties among its personnel. The successful operation once again confirms the vulnerability of russian assets responsible for the security of logistics routes in the area of the occupied Crimea.
