On the night of April 28, the Special Operations Forces (SOF) struck a storage facility for Iskander missiles located 40 kilometers from Simferopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.
"On the night of April 28, drones from the Special Operations Forces' Middle-strike units struck a storage facility for Iskander operational-tactical missile systems," the statement said.
The concealed equipment was located on the territory of a former missile base near the village of Ovrazhky, 40 kilometers east of occupied Simferopol, from where the missiles could reach the front line or rear cities of Ukraine "in a matter of minutes."
In addition, the Resistance Movement has repeatedly recorded enemy missile launches from this location.
"Striking and destroying the enemy’s strategic complexes reduces its combat capability. The Special Operations Forces continue asymmetric operations to strategically weaken the enemy’s ability to wage war against Ukraine," the Special Operations Forces concluded.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Tuesday, April 28, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tuapse oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of the aggressor state, the russian federation, for a second time.
