A satellite image of the russian city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Krai of the aggressor state, the russian federation, has been published, showing the aftermath of two attacks by Ukrainian drones on an oil refinery.

Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty published the satellite images on Monday, April 27.

The satellite image from April 26 shows the extent of the damage to the oil refinery’s tank farm. It is evident that several of the largest tanks were completely destroyed as a result of the strikes and subsequent fires.

As a reminder, earlier yesterday the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided details on the consequences of the drone attack on Tuapse. As a result of the strikes, 24 storage tanks were destroyed, and four more were damaged.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 24, russian media reported that Tuapse faces the threat of a disrupted tourist season due to the consequences of an oil spill into the sea following the strikes on the oil refinery.

We also reported that on April 20, residents of Tuapse complained about an “oil rain” that fell after a massive fire broke out at the oil refinery.
