President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is proposing that the Verkhovna Rada extend martial law and mobilization for 90 days starting May 4, that is, until August 2, 2026. The corresponding bills, Nos. 15197 and 15198, were registered with the Rada on April 27, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

Specifically, the bills propose to ratify Decrees No. 342 and No. 343, already signed by Zelenskyy on April 27, regarding the extension of martial law in Ukraine and the period of general mobilization for 90 days starting May 4, 2026.

This will be the 19th parliamentary vote on these issues.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 14, the Verkhovna Rada extended the duration of martial law and the general mobilization period from February 3 for 90 days, that is, until May 4, 2026.
