Today, April 26, residents of the capital and the Kyiv Region should prepare for temporary road complications. Special security measures are being implemented in the region in connection with visits by foreign delegations. This was reported by the State Security Department.

The restrictions will be in effect throughout the day and will apply to certain areas of the city and region.

"In accordance with the Law of Ukraine On State Security of State Authorities of Ukraine and Officials and the Regulations On State Protocol and Ceremonial of Ukraine, approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated August 22, 2002 No. 746/2002, heads of foreign states, governments, parliaments and international organizations who are in Ukraine on official or working visits are provided with state security by the State Security Department of Ukraine," the message states.

Patrol police and law enforcement agencies urge drivers to be careful, choose alternative routes in advance and take into account possible delays when planning their trips. Citizens are asked to be understanding of temporary inconveniences, as these restrictions are a necessary component of the safety of international guests. Up-to-date information on the organization of traffic can be followed on the official resources of law enforcement agencies.
