Logistics for Ukrainian forces in the Kupiansk area have deteriorated significantly due to systematic russian strikes on crossings over the Oskil River. It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The enemy’s systematic air and missile strikes on crossings over the Oskil River have significantly complicated logistical support for Defense Forces units in the Kupiansk area," the General Staff noted.

Currently, military supplies are being delivered via alternative means—using watercraft and heavy drones. At the same time, the command is strengthening air defense, countering drones, and expanding electronic warfare capabilities.

"Under these difficult conditions, special attention is being paid to supporting our servicemen carrying out missions on the front lines," the General Staff emphasized.

The General Staff also reported management issues in the sector. Specifically, the command of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade concealed the true state of affairs, which led to the loss of some positions and miscalculations in supply operations.

In light of these events, the brigade commander was relieved of his duties, and the commander of the 10th Army Corps was demoted. An investigation is currently underway.

"The new brigade and corps command is taking all possible measures to normalize the situation and ensure the supply of troops in combat positions," the General Staff emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 22, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the russian federation’s army is actively regrouping and building up reserves, indicating preparations for further offensive operations.
