The attack, which destroyed the house and cars of adviser to the Minister of Defense Serhii (Flash) Beskrestnov, was targeted - the UAVs were controlled from russia.
Flash told about this on the air of the telethon United News.
During the attack, russian forces used four Shahed jet drones, which were aimed at his house. Some of the drones were shot down, but two of them were able to reach the border of Kyiv.
"It's a great stroke of luck that I survived, I think. We already know how it happened: the russians used four Shahed jets. It was a special operation, apparently with the aim of finding me and eliminating me. Two Shahed were shot down by our guys with interceptors, but two flew to the city limits of Kyiv," he said on the air of the United News telethon.
Beskrestnov also reported that confirmation had been received that one of the drones was controlled from russian territory. He noted that about 20% of russian Shaheds are equipped with an online control system via the Mesh network, which operates from the territory of the russian federation.
Separately, the adviser to the Minister of Defense characterized the attack as directed against him.
"This is the first time I've seen the enemy trying to eliminate someone using Shaheds so purposefully," he said.
According to Beskrestnov, his home and cars were completely destroyed as a result of the strike: "There's nothing left, you could say that." He is currently in a medical facility.
Recall that on the night of April 20, russian troops again attacked the Kyiv Region with strike drones. In the Brovary district, damage was recorded to two private houses, and one person was injured.
