Special Forces of Defense Intelligence hit two large landing ships and expensive radar in Crimea

On the night of April 18-19, the special unit of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "Prymary" struck two large landing ships (LLS) of the aggressor state of russia - the LLS of project 775 "Yamal" and the LLS of project 1171 "Nikolai Filchenkov". This is stated in the message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As noted, at the time of the strike, the enemy ships belonging to the russian Black Sea Fleet were in the Sevastopol Bay (TO Crimea).

The intelligence officers said that the LLS of project 775 "Yamal" is a ship built in 1988, 112.5 meters long and capable of transporting up to 500 tons of cargo, including armored vehicles and landing forces. The estimated cost of the ship is over USD 80 million.

At the same time, the LLS of project 1171 "Nikolai Filchenkov" is a ship built in 1975 with a carrying capacity of up to 1,000 tons, which allows it to transport dozens of armored vehicles and a large landing contingent. The estimated cost of the ship is over USD 70 million.

"Both ships that russia used in the criminal war against Ukraine have been disabled," the intelligence officers stressed.

The Defense Ministry's Defense Intelligence also said that the enemy's "Podlyot-K1" radar station was destroyed as part of the operation in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The approximate cost of the radar complex is USD 5 million.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of April 19, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important facilities of the russian aggressor in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and the russian federation.
