In the first half of 2026, it is planned to sign contracts with manufacturers of ground robotic systems (GRS) for the supply of 25 thousand GRS, which is twice as many as in 2025.
It was announced by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"19 contracts for UAH 11 billion have already been signed with manufacturers of GRS in 2026: ground robotic systems will gradually get to the front," the Defense Ministry said in a message on Telegram on Saturday.

It is reported that in the first half of 2026, it is planned to sign contracts for the supply of 25,000 ground robotic systems, which is twice as much as in the whole of 2025.
"Four years ago, the market for ground robotic systems was virtually non-existent. Today, it is a full-fledged industry created together with Brave1: 280+ companies and 550+ solutions," the Defense Ministry said.
To make the process move faster, contracting was simplified; funding was increased; procurement was accelerated.
"Together with the General Staff, we are creating a special center of competence for ground robotic systems - a single place for all manufacturers, where it will be easier to obtain all permits and send ground robotic systems to work as soon as possible," the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
