Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces shot down a russian Shahed with an interceptor drone from a surface platform. It was reported by the 412th Nemesis Brigade on the Telegram channel.
"The Division of Unmanned Surface Systems as part of the 412th Nemesis Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces is performing combat missions in the maritime operational area," the statement said.
It is noted that this is a new level of integration of maritime and airborne unmanned capabilities.
"The use of surface carriers for the deployment of interceptor drones expands the ability to counter air threats and forms an additional echelon of protection for Ukrainian cities," the Brigade added.
Recall that the Defense Forces hit the Atlant Aero enterprise in Taganrog and other important occupants' facilities.
