The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that as a result of their combat work on the enemy's oil infrastructure, russia loses USD 100 million daily.
"As the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert "Magyar" Brovdi noted, as a result of a series of strikes on oil logistics facilities along the route Primorsk - Ust-Luga - Sheskharis - Tuapse, the total daily oil shipment has been reduced by about 880,000 barrels. According to information from open sources, at the current market price of Urals crude oil, this amounts to about USD 100 million in daily losses," the Unmanned Systems Forces said.
It is noted that the attacks led to: disruption of the stability of oil transshipment in key ports; complication of logistics supply routes; forced redirection of flows with overloading of alternative directions.
In particular, after the damage to the infrastructure of the Sheskharis terminal near Novorossiysk, the enemy tried to reorient the flows to Tuapse. This was taken into account when planning the operation: on April 16, the Defense Forces struck the Tuapse refinery, which resulted in a large-scale fire that continues to this day.
According to the Ukrainian News agency, on the night of April 18, "good drones" staged a fire show at the Novokuibyshevsk refinery in the Samara Oblast of the russian federation.
