SSU reports three russian Navy ships hit in Crimea - statement of SBU officials

The Security Service of Ukraine's Alpha Special Operations Center in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea has destroyed three russian warships - a large landing ship Yamal, a large landing ship Azov and a warship of an unspecified type.

It was reported by the press service of the department.

"There is also evidence of a possible defeat of the anti-sabotage boat of the 21980 Grachonok project. In addition, the SSU Alpha drones damaged the Dolphin communication system antenna unit, the MR-10M1 Mys-M1 radar, and fuel tanks at the Yugtorsan oil depot," the SSU said in a Telegram message on Saturday, April 18.

"The SSU systematically and consistently destroys the enemy along the entire front line, including the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Service's soldiers reduce the combat capability of the fleet, deliberately undermine logistics and deprive the enemy of the opportunity to fully use the peninsula as a military base. Each damage to ships and critical infrastructure has a cumulative effect and directly affects Russia's ability to wage war," the SSU said in a statement.

The SSU noted that this work will not stop: the intensity and depth of SSU operations will only increase until the enemy loses the ability to operate on Ukrainian territory.
