Due to the war in Iran, there are risks for the supply of weapons to Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in his traditional address, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Due to the war in Iran, there are risks for the supply of weapons to Ukraine - and I thank all partners who are ready to help and look for - how to fix it. Germany, Norway, Italy, the Netherlands - now Sweden in Ukraine - this week's visits were about exactly this - so that in the spring, summer we could maintain the stability of Ukraine, the strength of Ukraine, so that russia would not be tempted to think that the rise in oil prices and instability in the world could somehow help russia in the war," he noted.

Zelenskyy added that every day at the political and military level, Ukraine is in communication with partners for the sake of air defense.

"We are looking for anti-ballistics. Most importantly, we are moving towards such conditions when we will be able to produce air defense in Ukraine and together with partners - all the necessary formats of air defense - systems, missiles, etc. This is a serious strategic task for Ukraine - a real task that will guarantee protection for decades," the President noted.

He emphasized that among the security guarantees for Ukraine should be weapons packages, the ability to produce the necessary weapons, and, therefore, licenses for this and an industrial base.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early March, Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine may have a shortage of air defense missiles due to the war in Iran.
